Ilkeston Charter Fair

Tuesday 20th October to Monday 26th October 

Due to the annual Ilkeston Charter Fair taking place in the town, Services 27 and 59 will divert from Tuesday 20th October until Monday 26th October inclusive, which means we won't be able to serve the following named stops:

• Ilkeston Market Place
• Queen Street
• South Street

A number of temporary stops will be located on Albert Street and West End Drive during the fair, which we will observe as follows:

Service 27 towards Larklands:

• Stop 7 opposite New Lawn Road
• Stop 2 Albert Street
• Stop 5 Derby Road (opp. Bristol Street Motors)

Service 27 towards Swingate:

• Stop 4 Derby Road, outside Bristol Street Motors
• Stop 6 West End Drive

Service 59 towards Shipley View:

• Stop 6 West End Drive

​​Please note that service 59 won't serve the stop at Derby Road (opposite Bristol Street Motors) for the duration of the fair.

Service 59 towards Derby:

• Stop 7 opposite New Lawn Road
• Stop 2 Albert Street

Service 103: Nottingham City Centre

Due to the ongoing demolition of the multistorey car park on Maid Marian Way, we have been seeing severe congestion across Nottingham City Centre and surrounding roads - especially in the afternoons - creating major delays to service 103, which then has a subsequent knock-on to other services we operate as the bus covers other services throughout its working day.

To improve reliability, from Monday 12th October 2026 until further notice, the afternoon service 103 journey will depart Victoria Centre (Stop J2) at 14:15 as normal, then divert to Nottingham Railway Station missing the following named stops:

• Elite
• Mount Street (Stop X2)

​While we appreciate some passengers may have a little further to walk to alternative stops at Victoria Centre or Railway Station, this is the best solution we can find to keep this vital lifeline service running as reliably as possible these works are taking place.

Please accept our apologies for any disruption and inconvenience this will cause, but the situation is beyond our control.
