Service U1 Diversion 

Due to the closure of Lodge Lane the service U1 will divert as follows

Towards Train Station

The U1 will divert via Ashbourne Rd to resume normal route at Agard St.  All stops on Kedleston Rd / Lodge Lane / Bridge St will be missed.  The U1 will pick up/set down at any stop on Ashbourne during the diversion.

Service 138 Route and Timetable changes 

From Monday 1^st June 2026, we will be making some changes to the route and timetable of service 138. Between Horsley Lodge and Horsley Woodhouse, the route will change to serve Smalley - stops along Wood Lane will no longer be served and we will instead be serving:

• Cloves Hill
• Woodside
• Smalley (Rose & Crown)
• Smalley Church
• Dobholes Lane

There will be some timetable changes as follows:

• The 06:33 from Kilburn Toll Bar will now depart 3 minutes earlier at 06:30.
• On Schooldays the 08:00 from Belper will depart 2 minutes earlier at 07:58, to give it extra time to get to John Flamstead School. On Saturdays and School Holidays this journey will depart 15 minutes earlier at 08:00 not 08:15.
• The 16:00 from Belper will depart 5 minutes later at 16:05.
• The 18:45 from Heanor will depart 2 minutes later at 18:47 and serve all stops to Smalley Rose & Crown - from here, it will then drop off on request at stops to Kilburn Toll Bar.

• Some intermediate times between Belper and Heanor will change by a few minutes to better reflect traffic conditions - please check the new timetable carefully.

This restores a service to Dobholes Lane in Smalley, as well as providing a new link between Smalley and Belper.

These changes have been made with support from Derbyshire County Council, for whom we run the service under contract.
